Walk It Out- Mindful Nature Hikes
Walk It Out offers mindful nature hikes to enhance mental wellness through the restorative power of the outdoors. Participants engage in guided hikes that incorporate mindfulness practices, allowing them to connect with nature, reduce stress, and promote emotional well-being.
Wisdom in the Garden
Wisdom in the Garden is a groundbreaking intergenerational initiative focused on enhancing mental health through the restorative art of gardening. By pairing our elders with our teens, we strive to create impactful relationships, improve emotional health, and nurture a strong sense of community.
Wild Flower Child
Wild Flower Child is a transformative teen mentorship program, designed to empower young individuals through nature-based peer support. This program pairs teens with caring mentors who guide them in exploring their passions, building confidence, and fostering resilience in a supportive outdoor environment.
Healing Through Horses
Participants will engage in hands-on learning, starting with the essential skills of grooming the horses, which fosters a bond between horse and rider.
Next, they'll learn how to properly saddle the horse, ensuring safety and comfort for both. The riding experience itself will focus on building confidence, improving coordination, and enhancing communication skills, as riders learn to connect with their horses.
Journey of Thoughts
Journey of Thoughts is a unique walk-and-talk peer support session designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings and develop goals for their own personal healing journey. As participants stroll through a calming natural setting, they engage in meaningful conversations that promote emotional well-being and connection.
Wellness & Wilderness Workshops
The Wellness and Wilderness Workshops provide immersive experiences that blend holistic wellness practices with the beauty of the natural world. These workshops focus on enhancing mental and physical well-being. Participants learn valuable skills for self-care and stress management while connecting with nature.
